1. Some ways that I have changed since September are. I've met a lot of new kids that I have never new and they are pretty cool. I think in the beginning part of the year I really didn't try as much to do good in school as I do now. I also think I've got more responsible for all of my classes. So those are some of the ways I think I changed since September.



2. My least favorite topic was probably Romeo and Juliet. I really didn't like the play because I couldn't really understand what they were saying. Because it was from a really long time ago so they spoke different. So that was probably my least favorite subjected.



3. I think the most challenging thing this year that I could remember was the project that I did Bigfoot on. From the beginning of the project I never thought I was going to get it done. But i really tried hard and got it done. After that i also got a really good grade on the project. So that was probably the hardest thing I did this year in English.




4. I think my favorite topic we did was Forged by Fire. I liked that because it really made me enjoy my life better because I dint have a mother or a father that does drugs and I am more thankful that I don't have a dad or mom. So that was probably my favorite topic we did.



5. My piece of advice is to take freshmen year really seriously because if you don't your whole could be harder. because then your next few years your going to have to do really good in order to go to college.

Chapter 7 Response

A Few years ago I lost my grandma. It was the worst feeling you can get I thought because I was really close to her. I use to spend the night over her house sometimes and it was really fun. Pretty much every day after school my brothers and I would go to her house. But a few years before she died she had a very bad stroke and she fault threw it. She was one of the toughest person I have ever met in my life. She was already divorced to my other grandpa that had died. She always had a job even if she was hurt or not. She died in Middle Town Hospital. Gerald and I were both really close with the people that had died. We both got along good with the people that died. He also lived with his aunt for six years and I didnt live with my grandma for that long. So he must have new her really well.

Commontary to Animal Farm

No I didnt exspect the ending to happen as it happened. I didnt exspect Napoleon to turn in to human. Animals dont know how to run a society. The animals never gave up hope for Animal Farm.

Chapter 9 and 10

Chapter 9: Boxer split his foot open and it took a long time to heel. The day after the celabration they started to rebuild the windmill. Boxer was not going to take a day off of work and he wasnt going to show any pain either. It was really cold and food was shorter than ever. Boxer was sent to the knacker "Slaughter House" and he was killed.

Chapter 10: Years had passed by very fast and everyone and everything had been forgotten. Everyone forgot about the people that died. Squealer got very fat and benjamin was the only one who stayed the same. But there were more animals on the farm now. The windmill was not for elctricity it was for milling corn and are hard at work building another one.

Propaganda and manipulation

1. Real Life, Glitttering Generalities: I have seen this in real life. When you look at an ad, it says that their product is the best or something. How can you believe it because you dont really know if is the best. One time I went to buy an air rifle and it said it was the best one to buy. After I bought it, it was definelity not the best one.





2. Plain Folks: This has been on T.V alot. It is for the older people because when they cant walk good anymore they can go get a electric wheel chare. When the older people see another older person getting around good on a wheel chare they would like to have one.





3. Animal Farm, Black and White Thinking: The animals in Animal Farm did not no what to do because they didnt know if they should be on Napoleons side. So Snowball was the only one to go agianst him .





4. Transfer: Is when Napoleon is always seen whereing the metals and is by the flag. It makes him look like he is strong and stands strong for the animals. Then all the animals want to be on his side.



5. Band Wagon: It is when Old Major was telling all of the animals to go against Mr. Jones because Mr. Jones was going to make there lives miserable. So he made the animals run Mr. Jones out because he tells them they will never be free.

Night post one

I could not stand lying in this bed any longer. I wanted my own bed that I could be comfortable in and be just with my family but that wasn't going to happen. So I decided to stand up and I started to dream what it would be like to have a real meal because since I have been here all they have been feeding me was bread and a little water. I am so tired and weak I dont even know how many days I have been here. I wanted to keep going because I thought if I keep going I will see my family one of these days because they seperated us. Now all I can do is pray and wish my family and I will pull threw this so we can see eachother agian.

Outsiders Final Test

Darry learned how to fight and get through life with out any parents. He learned how to be a parent to Ponyboy. Darry would look out for Ponyboy and if Ponyboy was doing anything wrong he would make him stop. He got a job to take care of Soda and Ponyboy. He could have gone to college but instead he wanted to take care of Soda and Ponyboy. Darry also learned how to become a better person because he sacrificed his own life to make his brothers lives better. He could have gone to college for sports and to get smarter but he didn’t.
Those are some of the things Darry had learned for being on the streets for 16 years.

Outsiders Post 2

John Cade was born in1950. He died in 1967 and he was 17 years old. He died because he was suffering ingures from a fire. Johnny saved a group of little children in the fire and that is how he got burned. Johnny was a Greaser. Johnny got jumped by the Socs a few times in his life. Then after that he would carry a knife with him where he went. The Greasers dont stay home to much they are usally up to something. Johnny has long greasey hair, and usally get jumped by a Soc when they are by them selves. Johnny parents were really mean to him, they would beat him. Then as a result he was much closer with his friends.

Outsiders Post 1

To me I think family is my relatives my family and really close friends. Even if they aren't related to me or If I do not see them a lot or talk to them I consider them family. If I grew up with them since I was a little kid I would want them to be consider family. I think that the greasers are family because they see each other a lot, they fight just like a real family would. So that is why I would consider them family.
